UX/UI design: frequently asked questions
What is the difference between UX and UI?
UX is how the product works: what the user is trying to do, in what order, and where they get stuck. UI is how it looks and responds — layout, typography, colour, states. A beautiful interface over a broken flow still fails, which is why we never sell them separately.
What does your UX/UI process include?
Research and stakeholder interviews, information architecture, wireframes, an interactive prototype, and the final responsive interface with a documented component library. You review and approve at every stage, so nothing reaches development untested.
How long does a UX/UI project take?
Four to six weeks for a focused product, eight to twelve for a platform with several user roles. Running design ahead of development is what keeps the build phase from stalling on unanswered questions.
